Quick Start Guide

Go from script to first take in a few focused steps.

Step 1: Download and Install

Start by downloading the Autokue app from the App Store. Open the app after installation.

Step 2: Create Your First Script

From Home, tap + to write a new script. You can also import a document, paste text or open a file from another app. See all import options.

Step 3: Edit Your Script

Keep paragraphs short, add notes for prompts you need on camera and set a comfortable scroll speed. Use the editor to adjust the text before you record.

Step 4: Adjust Your Settings

Set text size, colors, alignment and scroll speed before your first rehearsal. When you are ready, try mirror mode for a teleprompter rig, a countdown for a clean start, or Smart Scroll to follow your voice.

Step 5: Launch The Teleprompter

From Home, open the menu next to the script and choose Teleprompter. Rehearse once at your natural pace before recording.

Tap REC to begin. You can adjust scroll speed, display notes and lock focus or exposure while recording. For a hands-free rehearsal, enable Smart Scroll; for a separate controller, see Extras.
